My daughter, Gianna, is a chef. She gets burns, cuts and all the war wounds of the kitchen. The other night, she came home and asked for energy work. Another burn. Here’s the thing… I don’t think my daughter really believes in energy work. Oddly – she is a natural healer – but I digress. So – I promised her energy work for the next day, and suggested she put honey on her wounds that night. The next day, she woke up – burns gone! Honey is known for everything from plaque reduction to healing herpes… Read more here: Amazing Healing Properties of Honey While honey may heal, energetically, honey is a wonderful energy to draw love into your life. Dress your candle with honey and surround it with loving images before burning… great ritual!
Get Rich Quick or Get Happy Slow?
I was on the phone with a client (I’ll call “Sandy”,) who was so funny I had to keep myself from laughing at her.
Yes, I said it..AT HER. She sees all the “stuff” people who study with me are doing, and she figured she could “cash in” too. See…she thought she could “get rich quick” – which anyone in my programs will tell you, is NOT the point. So a couple of points I should express: 1. Is it possible to quit your day job? Sure, but I can’t guarantee that you will match your salary your first year out. 2. Can you earn extra income while learning and still at your day job? Yup! Just keep your objectives in mind – what ever they are. 3. Will you know what your gifts are and be able to use them in your daily life? You Bet! Many who study with me feel like they’re not as “gifted” when their time with me is up – They soon learn how amazing they are with or without me. :o) I suggested the Super Size Your Soul Program to Sandy, explaining to her that it is a Get Happy Slow Program….NOT what she wanted to hear.
When I look back at my year, the single biggest thing I see… is a blur.
I have tried to do so much in so little time…almost like my life depended on it.
And can I be honest with you?
I really didn’t get a lot done.
Now, I am not saying a lot didn’t happen, I’m just sayin I didn’t get a lot done.
In fact, I find myself now “un-doing” what was done.
Truth be told, I feel like I’m back at the starting point in many ways.
So – I have declared 2015 my year to “Slow Down for Results.”
I have 2 single objectives I WILL accomplish, and I am going to take my time so I can have the quality results I desire.
I am so excited about this leisurely process because – since I am NOT overloading myself, I can almost TASTE the results!!
My 4 Step Strategy:
1. Scheduling the time to think deeply about the changes I want.
2. Committing to be proactive in my planning process, so I am not playing “catch up” with the small stuff.
3. A personal commitment to break old reactive patterns that keep me from my target.
4. Balancing analysis with intuition I can trust.
From there I am “mapping out” my year.
Pretty cool, huh?
This map will be one of the tools that will support my Super Size Your Soul group – keeping us all on track.
What changes would you like to see in 2015?
Are you ready to commit, really commit to YOU?

YOU? A Change Agent??
Affirmations. Goal Setting. Taking action. Visualization. “Laws” of Attraction. I know. Just looking at these words make you want to throw up. These “ideas” can be effective for you on occasion. But if you are one of those people who needs to understand the “how” behind the “why”, join the club. How can you get off the treadmill that leads to nowhere and on the highway to results? 3 Simple Steps
- Knowledge: New ideas are great, but until they are known on a cellular level, they remain “ideas”
- Repetition: Doing something over and over makes the behavior second nature, and brings results. If you only brushed your teeth once a week, that “habit” would keep you at the dentist..Spotty habits give spotty results.
- Support: Dont you just LOVE when you have an idea that you excitedly share with others, and they tell you all the reasons why it is NOT a good idea? No? Me neither. A good support group cheers each other on and shares each others vision.
Students, colleagues and clients often ask me about how is it that my business keep growing even though I keep training more and more gifted intuitives – theoretically creating “competition”. In really thinking about it, I do best when I think, feel and act like we are all part of an organic “whole”. Whether we are parents, mentors, teachers, (or students), we each play a role in the “organic whole”. Here are 4 Tips for being Successful & (W)Holey ;o) 1. Be passionate about what you do. Turn your work into your cause. I love what I do and I am so grateful for everyone that has ever worked with me. I know that we all are making a difference together. 2. Practice Stewardship not Ownership: When creating Stewardship, in your work, walls of separation don’t get in the way of effective give/take. Community overcomes Competition. 3. Create Circles instead of Pyramids…A much better metaphor, don’t’cha think? 4. Teach An Unencumbered Process: Allow for creativity and innovation. I teach a meditation process, but one 6 month student (Ty Ryan) had his own process in mind. And it was perfect for him and his intuitive style. One of the main reasons people under-perform or rebel is because of a feeling – at some level – of separation. I often remind myself that no matter how clever or spiritually gifted I think I may be – nothing happens without the “whole.”
