I am using a software program I am desperately trying to get used to. It’s called Infusionsoft (many call it “Confusion Soft”). It is a customer relationship management tool that is brilliant…I am working on thinking how it thinks. (Thank God for Stacey, my Infusionsoft Guru!)
The program allows you to pre-think available options and create a campaign that is “personalized” to your client. Like I said…It’s brilliant!
One of the things I noticed (while I struggle through it) – is that it is very similar to life itself.
See – there comes a point when a client chooses to “go left or go right”. In Infusionsoft, that is called a “Decision Diamond”. (See above)
In life we encounter many Decision Diamonds. I recall a couple of years ago encountering a very specific Decision Diamond. I was confronted with information that I could respond the way my gut told me to, or ignore it.
I chose to ignore it.
I had numerous D.D.’s around the same subject.
And still chose to ignore it.
(What do they say the definition of insanity is again??)
Fast forward…recently confronted with the same D.D….I hopped on that mf like it was a train.
You know…in life….there really is no right or wrong.
Life will always provide opportunities to choose. It is up to us to decide if we are to make a decision in the long run that makes us happy, or take the easy route – which constricts us in some way, shape or form.
