One of the most powerful images in the tarot deck is the image of The Tower.
When it shows up in a reading it speaks directly to our relationship with change. As soon as we are comfortable with our identity or circumstance, “change” shows up with jazz hands and a huge side order of discomfort.
We either welcome “change” – or (just like the Tower Card indicates) our whole world is shaken up. Sometimes both at the same time.
If you are like me, you will cling ferociously to what you knew, to avoid change/transition/death of an old “self” at all costs.
Welcome to my 2015.
The Good News:
Once you stop fighting change (by clinging to the past) and embrace the flow of what’s working in your life, and what is “current” (staying in flow) – then you breakthrough yet another level of personal growth and spiritual awareness.
The “Personal Growth” is where your feet land.
The Spiritual Awareness is realizing that it is ok to trust the Universe.
Ultimately, we are safe.
The question to ask yourself is “How ready to grow am I?”
My birthday to birthday year (Nov. 2014 – Nov. 2015) was pretty hellacious, and I am on the other side of that, now. (Can I get an “Amen!”)
