People come to us, as Hairdressers, Make-up artists, Tattoo Artists, Photographers, Intuitives, Reiki Practitioners etc., to feel better.

Then my barber, Moyeh, at Crown Chakra Barbering Co. took it down even more, to a very close buzz cut.
It was at that point I fell in love.

I felt the same way after Photographer Monique Floyd showed me the images she took of me.
And after being massaged by Intuitive Massage Therapist, Danielle Garland.
And after getting my latest tattoo by tattoo artist Dani at Haylo Healing Arts.
And wearing Reiki Healer Autumn Austin’s wearable wands.
Each of these people are entrepreneurs who are excellent at what they do. And my wild guess is that they love what they do.

Today, I offer 4 Keys to Doing what You Love for a Living:
1. Know how you Help: Sounds too simple, but many healers don’t recognize their value or have a point of difference.
2. Make yourself visible wherever your clients are, Clients can’t access what you offer if they don’t know who you are.
3. Shamelessly Self Promote: Be ready and comfortable talking about how you serve in a moment’s notice. (We meet people everywhere: Coffee shops, Yoga Studios, Parties etc. Are you comfortable saying “I am a Medium?” without shame?)
4. Establish Yourself as an Authority in your space by teaching what you offer. Not everyone will be as good as you, but unlike actors (“Those who can’t act, teach”), in our space, “Those who can do X, teach X.”
