Okay, True Confession: I secretly believe that I am supposed to help everybody in my path. Actually, maybe it’s not a secret.However with the recent events in my life I realized the importance strategic placement of my energy.
As I watch my Sun run around, with the enthusiasm and energy of a true 12-year-old boy, I realize that we are all born with an “energy account” and we must “spend” wisely.
When we’re younger we feel like we’ll never get older or never grow tired.
The older I get, the more I appreciate the value of my most precious commodity: My Energy.
According to the Heart Math Institute, while the heart pushes blood around, it also sends out electrical frequencies that resonate with the brain’s rhythms. (I’ll be sharing more about the power of heart in the upcoming 2 Day Advanced Medical Intuition Intensive, October 8th and 9th).
Your heart sends out smooth rhythms when you feel emotions such as gratitude and appreciation. Your heart sends out jagged and chaotic rhythms when you feel frustration and stress.
Stress and frustration are the emotions I feel when I try to help someone who really is not in a place to receive it.
This frustration is not healthy for me.
The quality of our thoughts and emotions affect the heart’s electromagnetic field. The heart generates oxytocin the feel-good hormone which is also found in the brain.
Our hearts have intelligence.
Our hearts also have cells that are exactly like some of the cells in our brains. Electrical impulses move back and forth between our hearts and our brains. In fact our hearts sends more information to the brain, then the brain sends to the heart.
Is thinking very often it needs things so what about think you.
So when your heart tells you to put your “super hero” cape away and take care of you – instead of trying to take care of someone else, do it.
I’m learning that I don’t have to always be the one to save the day. Sometimes, as a healer our biggest opportunity is to heal ourselves.
