This was an interesting week for me.
It was this week about four years ago; I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The odd coincidence was that my neighbor up the street was also diagnosed about the same time.
Why did I even think about this?
Well, one of my clients was recently called back for a second round of mammograms (the first was inconclusive). And as I started thinking more about this, I realized my daughter’s step mother was also diagnosed in October.
Is this Breast Cancer Season?
Am I crazy to think that maybe this whole “breast cancer awareness month” is something we should throw out the window?
I mean, I think we should think about our health EVERY day, (not just one month out of the year) and I bet you dollars to donuts that more breast cancer is diagnosed in October than any other month. (This fact was confirmed by my doctor 10/15/2014).
This “awareness” is an energetic scare tactic. Maybe we should call it Breast Cancer A-Scaredness month.
I went to an event of a great naturopath, Dr. Stephanie Mattola – who shared that we all have cancer cells, and many of the earlier stages of cancer would probably just go away if left alone. In fact, she shared that she was not a huge fan of Mammograms – which expose you to cancer causing radiation.
What are some of the Energetic causes behind breast cancer?
Well it depends…left breast or right?
According to Louise Hay right breast cancer speaks to is a need to receive and left breast cancer says your giving yourself away.
According to Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer (psycho-oncologist) – right breast cancer speaks to conflict with a partner, where left breast speaks to issues with your mother (or child).
Colin Tipping (Creator of a healing technique called Radical Forgiveness) has discovered in his work that many women are diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years after a divorce.
Many say that all cancer is about anger.
Personally, with my clients, I look for energetic cords, and look for the energy holding the cancer in place to eliminate it.
Our culture has made way too much money from the “healing” of cancer.
Did you know that very few people actually die of cancer? People die from the antiquated treatment of cancer.
Needless to say – I have a lot of thoughts on this subject, but I remind myself (and you) that for me, cancer was a gift.
It was that kick in the ass that said:
“Gina, live your life the way you want. Stop settling. And teach what you learn.”
And So it is <3
