Bewitched?

Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie were among my favorite shows growing up, Today, they help demonstrate a valuable lesson to my students.

Both characters in these shows (“Jeannie” and “Samantha”) worked their magick often, and did something “special” to “turn their magick on”.

Samantha wiggled her nose, and Jeannie, the more dramatic of the two, crossed her arms in front of her, nodded and blinked at the same time.

When people are just starting their intuitive journey with me, I suggest they create their own “on switch”. This helps their body know that they are “doing that thing again” – and before you know it, they can easily move from 3-D senses to multiple senses as quickly as turning on a switch.

Your “on-switch” does not have to be a dramatic display… it can be as subtle as a few deep breaths, or rubbing your hands together. You should be able to do it in public without getting any “hairy eyeballs”…(‘cuz you never know when you’ll want to turn your magick on!)

If this sounds like something you would like to try, first try it before going into mediation. This will help set the energetic stage for your body.

The ONE rule in this process, is to keep your “on-switch” consistent. It is the repetitive nature of your gesture that invites your body to connect with your spirit and your intention.

Bonus: Over time, this even helps to potentize your intuitive work.

Note: If you are particularly verbal/auditory – you can add words to it. When I first started doing Intuitive Tarot Readings professionally, I would gently rub the sides of my tarot deck and think “I see, I hear, I feel, I know, I trust.”

The physical gesture supported my intuition, and saying the words reminded me to move away from my ego, and provide the information I received, no matter how ridiculous it seemed.

So, are you ready to turn your magick on?
