When I was in my 20’s living in New York City, I would often day-dream about my desires, then select a few tarot cards that represented them and prop them up on a 7-day candle.
My apartment never burned down, but a lot of my dreams came true.
A little intention goes a long way.
Over the years my process became more elaborate – and my results even better. I want to share a simple yet effective way to create a little tarot magick, even if your dusty deck hasn’t been touched in years. If you have eyes to see the images and your deck evokes feeling, you can do this!
This particular ritual requires 7 crystals (6 stones and a standing crystal point for the center), a flower of life grid, your tarot deck and your intention.
6 Simple Steps to Basic Tarot-Crafting
Step 1: Decide which goal you want to work on.
Step 2: Find up to 3 cards that represent your goal.
Step 3: Clear and charge your crystals. (Clear your crystals with running water and intention. Charge with your breath and intention.)
Step 4: Next, place your crystals on your flower of life grid. (This shape is the one-stop-shop for manifesting.) Place the standing point in the center and the other crystals around them in a way that looks and feels good to you.
Step 5: Place your selected cards under the center stone.
Step 6: Finally, “charge your grid” by pointing at the center stone and tracing your fingers back and forth from the center to the other surrounding crystals (almost like you are tracing the spokes of a wheel).
This is just ONE way to do a tarot spell.
