We’ve all heard that there is a song called “Jesus take the wheel”. I’ve never heard it and it doesn’t even sound like a song I would even want to listen to, but there is wisdom in the title.
During one of my “hell years”, I believed I was in “surrender”.
But I wasn’t.
That year, my goal to sell my house had an even larger intention: To eliminate debt.
I even started a year-long program (Super-Size Your Soul), where each participant created a goal for 2015, and I just knew I would sell my house and accomplish my goal.
Well, I didn’t sell my house, (to which I now say, “Thank you, God”), and behold, I accomplished my goal of being debt free!
After a rock bottom moment, I stopped to look at my life. There were things that were going really smoothly, and there was also that “sell the house wall” I kept beating my head into.
Question: How do you know when the Divine is driving?
Answer: It is effortless and fun.
Four steps to Surrendering to Divine Flow:
- Review your objectives and what you’re doing to accomplish them. In The Visionary, you learn specific techniques to allow you to follow the path of least resistance.
- Determine what is working in your life, effortlessly and joyfully.
- Note what efforts are not working towards your goals, and how they make you feel.
- Stop doing what is draining you.
God’s “flow” is joyful and effortlessness. WE want to stay in THAT flow.
I am NOT saying that you wont have to work towards your dreams, but I am saying it shouldn’t feel like work.
