There was a time when you could get fired for wearing cornrows (I’m sure dreadlocks would’ve had you completely outcasted); skulls were considered “negative” and jeans were “dressing down”.
At the same time, reading tarot cards, believing in any modality of alternative healing, and all things “woo” were totally taboo.
Now, everyone wants to own their power – however, that shows up: In fashion, lifestyle, ritual, and almost anything that supports your personal authentic expression of “you”.
Now is a time that people are being open about who they are and what (and who) they “do”. All things magickal are suddenly in style. Gucci’s ad featuring tarot cards and crystals, and Sephora’s witch-kit are only two fashion-forward companies who are on the “magickal red-carpet”.
This may be a passing fad for many, yet I know in my heart that together, we are creating a new world. And I guarantee, this is more than just a fad…We are now remembering just how powerful we are. This desire for personal power will only get stronger over time.
Some of us are being called to step up and step out as leaders – creating products, services and safe spaces that allow others to heal, grow and just fuckin’ BE.
In 2015, I offered my very first Enlightened Business & Marketing Retreat. At the time, this event was two full days and hosted in a hotel. I charged about $300 a seat. About 100 people attended and AT LEAST 40% of those in attendance are now working for themselves.
Now that Curio, Craft & Conjure exists, I am doing this a little differently.
I’ve consolidated the material and pulled out the fluff (- instead of 16 hours it will be 8) so I can offer this at a more affordable rate.
