About 4 years ago, I started to randomly add crystals to my intuitive tarot readings.
It was a random, intuitive thing because it was so simple and unique. In fact, I later realized could be offered as a “stand -alone” experience.
When I decided to teach others how to include crystals in their divination process, I also became curious how others did it – surely, I wasn’t the ONLY one doing this! I found and purchased a great book on crystal healing that included crystal divination: The Crystal Healing Bible by Sue Lilly.
As I read it, I realized that the divination process included, while highly effective, was filled with a deeper knowledge and understanding of astrology than I have. To be clear, I LOVE ASTROLOGY – but I am NOT an astrologer!
That said – I know there are folks like me, who appreciate astrology, crystals, tarot and divination – and (also like me) may not “come with” astrological mastery.

See – some divination systems, only include “yes” or “no” answers.
I don’t know about YOU, but I think “yes” or “no” questions are a fast road to hell in divination.
Let me put it this way: It is like asking a “should” question. “Should I do “this” or “that”?”
When we ask “should” questions, we literally toss away our power!
So – in the modalities I prefer, we explore additional ways to “cast” your crystals.
I’ll share one in this email.
Some folks (like The Crystal Healing Bible suggests) will purchase astrological boards, compass grid boards, and other “tools” to support their casting.
Here is a secret: Why not create a “grid” or “map” of your choosing.
Why limit yourself to premade tools you must purchase, if you can use your intention to create the perfect tool.
A “map” or “grid” is like a “tarot spread” in that you can use your intention to allow the placement of your stones to provide answers.
Let’s say you want to do a 3 stone reading. Each position can refer to whatever you want it to.
Examples:
- Past; Present; Future.
- Mind; Body; Spirit.
- Opportunity; Challenge; Outcome
- Tom, Dick or Harry. :o)
Simply pull 3 or more crystals that represent “Past, Present or Future” or your Big 3.
