Can you help?
The recent emails I’ve sent have reached a sensitive spot for many of you. The responses I’m getting are heartfelt and overwhelming.
Today I’m writing to you because I need your help with something. It affects all of our lives.
First, know that until recently I rarely asked anyone for anything. I was raised by a warrior “strong black woman” archetype (Translate: We need nothin’ from no one!) and the fact is that being vulnerable (by asking) has always made me uncomfortable.
Fast forward to now: Was there ever a time in your life when you needed something and someone helped you? It made a real difference to you, didn’t it? This is also true for the people whose lives you’ve touched by helping them.
I feel that there should be more people, like us, helping those who are frustrated with the medical community. I know that many of you are feeling called to be a messenger of hope, and healing.
Would you like to be as informed as possible and share this information with your loved ones, clients and others, even if it’s someone you bump into on the street? I know that often one small piece of information you’ve learned and passed on can make a profound difference for someone.
Many of the beliefs in medical and health communities are limited …and often wrong.
