The feedback I am getting around Lumin8 Charlotte – the educational “Fun-Raiser”, helping little Evolet Lopez has been amazing – (GRATEFUL!)
Folks have been coming out of the woodwork to help – and I love seeing our community pull together and respond like this to help others.
The other day, someone walked into Curio, Craft & Conjure and said “I can’t afford to go to Lumin8, but I would like to donate something for the raffle.” Then, she handed me a beautiful hand-made crystal, beaded necklace, with an image of a long-haired mermaid on its prominent jade pendant. It is a truly beautiful piece!
Her generosity was so genuine and heartfelt, I reduced the price for her ticket to Lumin8 Charlotte, by the value of the necklace she donated. This made her ticket cost only $147 – which was in her budget, and she was thrilled to accept!
When she walked out of the store, something became very, very clear.
This year, Lumin8 Charlotte will be held at the beautiful Waverly Hilton Garden Inn from 10 – 6 on Saturday October 27th. Our “pre-event party-book-signing” on October 26th is at Curio, Craft & Conjure from 6-8pm.
And on Saturday, we’ll be raffling the donated items at the event. Remember – 100% of the raffle proceeds go to Evolet’s family. In addition to “life expenses” Evolet needs a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
Wouldn’t it be GREAT if at least 50 people donated 50 items that could be raffled, to raise money for her family?

- Once accepted, we’ll provide the SECRET code that allows YOU to attend Lumin8 Charlotte for only $147 for Saturday or $197 for both days.
Already, we have helped raise $265 for Elizabeth, Evolet’s mom – but you know that doesn’t go very far these days.
