Culture Clinging

A popular meme circulated on social media featuring a picture of Keanu Reeves and this message: “The truth is, The Matrix was a documentary.”

I agree. In fact, I’ve noticed that there are 2 “camps” of people:

1. Those who recognize “The Matrix” & want to leave its clutches.
2. Those who don’t recognize the Matrix and cling to culture.

From my perspective, I believe we choose between “The Matrix” and “reality” every day, with every choice – even the smallest choices. You don’t have to be brazen enough to choose to call yourself a “witch” to honor this truth.

The thing here is simple, yet very hard: You must be brazened enough to be unapologetically YOU.

And I get it. “Fitting in” is part of our culture. It is a survival technique.

“Culture,” however, is subjective – based on where you live. In some “cultures,” men can hold hands, but men and women cannot.

In some “cultures,” you must remove your shoes upon entering the home. Or drive on the other side of the street. Or (if you’re a woman), pander to men by not establishing eye contact or cover your mouth when you smile.

The list of cultural differences goes on and on.

When you are ready to embrace your sovereignty and personal authentic Spiritual Power, your life changes. Often, life changes – like death, divorce, job loss, or life-threatening illness – ARE the initiation itself.

This doesn’t mean that, for example, when traveling, you can be blatantly disrespectful to other’s cultural norms. It simply means you know who you are.

Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that too many have no idea who they are, pandering to men, money, religion, politics, organizations, and other cultural bullshit – all the while being clueless of their Potential, Power, Sovereignty, and Universal Laws.
