This week, I decided to pull a Tarot card for all of us – and found it fitting that I pulled the Death card.
As leaves start falling from the trees, we are experiencing a seasonal “death.”
The Death card reflects the initial stages we’ll all experience: The falling always of outdated energy.
We are constantly experiencing the cycle of death and rebirth in our lives as part of our evolution.
Listen, “death” is inevitable. When the death card is pulled, it is a sign that we’ve come to an ending.
Where in your life are you experiencing a “death”?
The Good News: Death always precedes a new beginning… a time for “bigger” and “better.”
You have outgrown where you are, and your expanding energy will not fit in this “old space.”
You’ve outgrown your current situation and are now invited to let go with compassion, gratitude, and optimism.
It’s often painful, initially. But this initiatory period is a pull towards something greater… a sign that new paths and opportunities are available to you… and that The Universe feels you are ready for it.
Do you?
Will you choose growth?
The worst part of “death” is the unknown future. Even if we are currently miserable, at least we know what to expect!
But what comes next will be part of the most incredible journey! Sure – it may be rocky and filled with unexpected “shituations,” but that is only because we have expectations, and when we release them, growth is ours for the taking.
Remember: You have done this before. Each year brings the death of the one before, and each new choice is both a loss and an opportunity. Whether it’s moving away from your parent’s house, moving to a new city, changing jobs, divorce, or an actual death – all of these are examples of the “death cycle” – the same way we move through seasons.
All you need now is a willingness to step out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown. Trust in both your intuition and that The Universe will guide you towards the best possible outcome.
