Many see the path to enlightenment as some type of selfless service.
In fact, I believe we MUST be self-FULL in order to be authentic in our service.
Anything that helps people can be considered “service” – which includes work you enjoy.
“Karma Yoga” traditionally involves guiding people to enlightenment. Spiritual education is considered by many to be the best form of selfless service – but it does not have to feel like a burden or be done for free.
I enjoy helping people expand their gifts, and I am currently called to offer a very specific type of teaching.
For me, Magick involves using all of the insight and resources I have around “energy”, and creating practical rituals that support my desires.
It can be difficult to deal with a world that resists love and higher vibrations. No matter how big or small your rituals are, you can make a difference.
According to Krishnamurti, the most effective way to serve people is to lead them to enlightenment.
“Any rich man can feed the body, but only those who know can feed the soul. If you know, it is your duty to help others to know.” ~ Jiddu Krishnamurti,
The best way to awaken people is to share what you know and feel. Creative work like painting, writing, ritual and music bring us back into contact with a long-lost part of ourselves.
I am a Light Worker.
When you help a person reconnect with their soul YOU are a Light Worker.
If you are thinking “Well, how can I create something that uplifts people and inspires higher consciousness?”
The answer is simple: Tap in to the silent, sacred part of yourself that can answer any question, solve any problem and create any kind of masterpiece.
It’ll provide what you need to awaken others to the existence of their silent higher self, and when this life is finished, you’ll be satisfied knowing you made a sufficient effort to illuminate the other side of the veil.
