When you have issues with your home, cars, workplace, or pets, use these as metaphors for what is going on with you. We are too close to ourselves to “see” our potential issues, so be mindful of any consistencies you are finding in your relationships. The reason why we have relationships is so we can see ourselves.
In the last newsletter, I referenced my “dating escapades.” As I reviewed those I have dated recently – they have ALL been in transition. Two just moved to Charlotte, two just got divorced, and one lost his wife last year.
After realizing this connection, I turned my focus on myself, only to realize I am also in transition: My daughter and daughter-in-law are moving soon, and my son is about to graduate high school! Tip: When you find connections with events or people in your life, look for how it reflects an aspect of your life.
And keep in mind that our homes, cars, and pets are extensions of us. If someone targets you, they may target your car, home, or workplace and use it as a magical magnetic link. In terms of pets, they often catch what is thrown at us – so be mindful of your pet’s health!
Throwing Hot Foot powder or planting a gri-gri on someone directly is a lot more noticeable than going to their home and planting it on their property – which, by the way, tends to be the most time-honored way of delivering a hex.
Aside from attacks by other witches, the home of a witch is often the site of many rituals. Rituals attract all kinds of energies, spirits, and forces. Contrary to popular occult beliefs, spirits and forces are not instantly and/or permanently cast out when the circle is closed.
Nor should they be.
A Witch’s home should be a house of Spirits, where they are conjured and questioned and can approach you in return. This is how we establish our relationship with them.
