Everyday Energy Essentials
While I was in Minneapolis last week studying with my favorite teacher, a friend called me for insight on a conversation she had with a mutual friend. She was confused, and wanted my feedback, as a fellow PPM (Power of Perspective Member).
Our friend is a Healer and a firm believer of protective practices before leaving the house. Lord knows that there is enough negativity in the world – who wants to get slimed with that??
On the other hand, the caller doesn’t believe she even needs protection. She equated it to insurance sales or any tactic used to get results by instilling fear. She believes you draw the fear to you by focusing on protecting yourself from it.
My opinion?
They’re both right.
We are all at risk of “catching” negative energies if we are already resonating at the vibration of that energy.
Energy is like magnets, attracting similar energies and multiplying in the process. Your energy body creates holds energy about yourself, others and no one. These float in the atmosphere, broadcasting energetic vibrations. If a compatible energy is within reach, it hops on for the ride. If not, it disintegrates over time – but not without searching high and low for a place to live.
You cannot be affected by the negative thoughts of others unless you already have similar thoughts in your energy field.
Perfect example: I studied with a famous Medical Intuitive a few years ago, who was teaching a pretty dense course. One of the participants in the class asked if she was going to provide handouts.
Her response?
“What? So you can steal my material?? No.”
Fast Forward – Her assistant stole over $30,000 from her – the fees that we all paid for the class. Talk about the law of attraction!
So, if you have fear around certain issues in your life, I suggest your protect yourself from THEM…but not everything.
