I have to say, this is a brilliant question, and one that most folks would be embarrassed to ask, lest they be viewed as “crazy”.
The reality is that we all have voices in our head. Some folks I know not only talk to themselves but have a full on dialog!
The voices in our heads can come from at least 3 areas. Our opportunity is to be able to discern them.
The three areas these voices often stem from include:
- Hope: We are in such a heightened positive emotional state, we want to believe this voice. It is pretty loud.
