Since opening Curio, Craft & Conjure, I am surprised at the initial reactions that many people have to the term Hoodoo. There is this automatic belief that you will (& can) do something negative to them.
To be honest, you the latter is true, but one should not assume that is all Hoodoo is about.
At Curio, Craft & Conjure, we do carry items that can be used to trick someone. That said, we refuse to do any of that type of work for you. If you know what you are doing, have at it.
We will craft a C4 Candle or create a mojo bag for love, health, prosperity, protection, career, etc.
And we will share pointers on Tarot Magick, Crystal Gridding and provide tips on how to align with my favorite ally – your Ancestors.
But if you want to do something to someone, you’ll have to take that on yourself.
Doing negative, harmful tricks to people, as tempting as it may sound to some, not only returns 3-fold, but also effects generations of your family.
Let me say that again:
Generations. Of. Your. Family.
I am a firm believer that, if you want to, say, “make” someone love you, you can take the same amount of energy and attract the person who loves you as you are – without any tricks. (Besides, who wants to be with anyone who was tricked into being with them anyway? Not me!)
I offer numerous recipes, suggestions and other Hoodoo tips in Quantum Conjure – our online course designed to help you create more magick in your life.
Note: In Quantum Conjure, I do teach how to do some of the negative stuff and my reason is simple: So you know what it looks like.
Let’s face it, there are a slew of talented narcissistic sociopaths who could care less about what energy is returned to them and don’t have kids. They may not even like their siblings, and so they could care less about their generations of family that proceeds them.
Also, personally, I like to learn the art of many things, simply so I know what it looks like.
For example, I studied the art of Spirit Releasement Therapy (exorcism). And I think it is a fascination subject, but I have absolutely no desire to perform this service.
Not only do I love learning but I also LOVE teaching, so if you would like to learn more about Hoodoo history while gaining practical tips, recipes and practices – check out Quantum Conjure.
Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming events… We have some special opportunities coming up this season that you’ll want to be a part of!
