Tarot readers come in all forms – from those who are experienced and read professionally to those who read for themselves and friends to those who are still learning and practicing. All stages are worthy – unless you pay for a reading and the “reader” still relies on “the little white book.” ;o\
Even still, you can always tell an experienced reader from an amateur whether they read reversals or flip them around so that they are “upright.” (To me, reversals are part of the language of tarot. Not being able to “read” them is like writing a story in lowercase only, without any punctuation.)
An experienced tarot reader also knows that the Major Arcana is the foundation of any tarot deck. It tells the story of the Fool’s Journey – which reflects our spiritual journey in life. In fact, according to writer Joseph Campbell, the best and most successful stories and movies reflect the Fool’s Journey. Great examples include The Alchemist, Star Wars, and The Wizard of Oz – to name a few.
I recently increased my prices for readings and wanted to give my clients a viable option to support them as they move through their journeys. My clients come to me for insight and often have a specific question that is part of their own “fool’s journey.” We all come into this life innocent of our full spiritual wisdom (represented by the Fool) and are quickly taught the “ways of the world,” forgetting the deeper knowledge we were born with. We move through several “initiations” in the form of “trauma,” “disappointment,” and challenges, inclusive of health issues, financial struggles, job loss, death, heartbreak, and more.
I can tell you from experience in each of the above areas that the only way out is through, and I’ve created an affordable tool to support you during tough times. This tool is available on my site to anyone with $8 and a specific question. An “SOS” reading uses three cards and can provide precisely what you need to make it to the other side of your opportunity for growth and healing. Your 3-card reading includes the Major Arcana only.
Why “SOS“?
“SOS” represents:
- The first card represents your Situation
- The second card represents your Opportunity
- The third and final card represents your Solution
Do you have a burning question? I’ll make a few suggestions for this (or any) reading you get.
- Never tell a reader your question initially. Even the best readers have a “filter” based on their own experiences. Our experiences help us develop opinions, but our opinions should have nothing to do with you or your reading. That said, since you are the “reader,” in this case, follow the next steps.
- Never ask a “yes” or “no” question, and never ask a “should” question.
- Ask questions that put you in the “driver’s seat.” Your best options for questions include “How can I..?” or “What can I do to…?”
