Okay – True story.
Years ago, there was a woman I knew and liked, but after a while…there was a “weirdness” around us. We were very cautious around each other – we could teeter on the “good friends” line, then hop over to “enemies” in a heartbeat.
So I guess we were “Frenimies”.
Without any real drama, we just stopped connecting.
Then one day, I saw that she started making jewelry, an activity I was always interested in. Honestly – her jewelry was beautiful.
And I was a little jealous.
What do you think I did?
I took a jewelry beading class!
And it was the best damn thing I could do for myself. I mean her jewelry is good, but NOW – I like mine better.
AND I am no longer jealous!
Tapping into why and where you feel competitive, can excel you to greatness.
Let’s face it: Most of us can get complacent and lazy.
Wisely used, the energy of “competition” can fuel you to do the “right things” – even if they are for the “wrong reasons”.
So, my invitation to you is simple: See where you get jealous.
Then “Shift the energy”. Do something positive about it.
