I don’t know about you, but throughout my life, I believed that my soul’s to-do list was “finite” and that I would become a “finished product” (Healthy. Rich. Loved. Smart.)
The reality is that my “to do list” is an endless journey of personal growth and discovery. The more I discover (and the greater my growth), the more I realize what is yet to be realized and achieved.
One of my BFF’s often accuses me of being “overly optimistic”. And most of the time, I am. In my life, and work, I have found 2 simple truths:
- Optimism breeds success.
- Pessimism destroys it.
That said, believe it or not, I’ve had pessimistic pit-stops.
My own spiritual boot-camps taught me about the strength in vulnerability and in asking for help (something I’m not good at).
My life’s adventures have metaphors for great life lessons. During them, I’ve learned about The Magick of the 3 Surrenders:
- The surrender in reaching “rock bottom”.
- The surrender in asking for help.
- The surrender in allowing Source to lead.
Over the next few newsletters, I will go through this list with exercises I think you will gain a lot from. It has helped me move away from “fear-based desire for control” to “trust-based guidance”.
These tools helped me a lot this year and are a glimpse of what I will be offering in my new online course The Visionary.
You Are Loved ~
