The Magick of Numbers

Numbers are around us all the time.

Many of us in the “woo-world” don’t particularly like numbers. We may equate it to money earned (or not) and bills paid (or not!)

In either case, mystic and philosopher Pythagoras believed that “numbers are the law of the universe”.

Numerology is the art and science of understanding the spiritual significance of numbers.

Letters and numbers are related. It is believed that when the letter and number codes are understood, you can then have a personal relationship with the intelligence of the universe.

Each number (and its corresponding letter) has a principle, energy and meaning.

Each of us have been given at birth four numbers:

• Your Life Lesson Number: This number represents the lessons you must learn in this lifetime and can be significant in your career choice.
• Your Soul Number: Your real personality. The “you” known only to you!
• Your Outer Personality Number: This number represents the mask we present to others. This is how people see us.
• Your Path of Destiny Number: This number represents the path you must walk, what you must accomplish and what you must be.

Some believe that changing your name will change your numbers, (hence your path and destiny) but your birth name carries a lot of weight! Working with these energies can support us in living fulfilling lives.

Today, I’d like to share a Numerology Tip with you that has nothing to do with numbers.

This tip reveals the significance of the first vowel in your first name. (Not your nick name, your middle name, or what people call you!)

The ancients considered vowels the sacred elements in the alphabet. They believed that the first vowel was the vibration upon which the soul entered the body.

Note: If there are more than three of the first vowel in the whole name, there is too much of that characteristic.

Let’s look at each vowel so you can discover your power.

If A is your first vowel in your first name, you are bold, independent, inquisitive and interested in research. You know what you want and why. If there are 2 A’s in your first name, you are a clear thinker.

If E is your first vowel in your first name, you are versatile and learn easily. You have an eventful and exciting life. If you have more than one E, you may be wishy-washy.

If I is your first vowel in your first name, you are intuitive and interested in the arts and science. More than one I, you may be sensitive.

If O is your first vowel in your first name, you are candid, methodical and believe in systems (like law and justice). More than three O’s can make you obstinate.

If U is your first vowel in your first name, you have a universal mind capable of great ideas and love to accumulate material things and may become a collector of some sort. More than three Y’s you may experience loss due to selfishness.

If Y is your first vowel in your first name, this has the same significance of E or I based on how the Y is pronounced.
