Camphor has gained a reputation for its healing properties, particularly for cough, pain, and itching. In the spiritual community, it’s purifying properties take the lead, and we can also use it for divination and adding power to your mojo bags. In this email, we’ll share the “scoop.”
Camphor for Clearing
You can clear your space, objects, and energy field using camphor blocks. With purifying in mind, this ritual requires:
- A camphor block
- White 7-day candle
- Bowl of water
- Fireproof dish
First, physically clean the space you are clearing. Then, open the windows, thank the fire element, and light the candle. Thank your camphor and light it. Speak aloud what you would like to clear your space from, while carrying the dish around the room, letting the smoke reach all corners, doorways, and areas you feel the energy is most dense. When done, thank the camphor for its support, and let the candles burn through to completion.
Camphor for Divination
You can enhance any divination technique you perform to boost your intuition by burning a little camphor and bay leaves.
If you have ever tried water scrying, you know it can be difficult, but if you add a tiny bit of grated camphor into a bowl of black water, you will find scrying to be “easy-peasy”.
Finally, burning a little camphor before going to bed can provide prophetic dreams.
Camphor for Power
Add a tiny bit of camphor to boost any ritual you are performing.
Also, by making a “camphor mojo bag” – (with a combination of camphor, hyssop, and lemongrass) in a red bag, you’ll effectively keep your aura clear of “hitch-hikers” (stray spirits) and other unwanted energies.
