For this exercise, no numbers under 21 are reduced.
Common Mistakes:
- Be sure to use the current year for your calculation.
- Be sure to add each digit. If your birthday is on December 26th, 2020, the equation looks like this: 1+2+2+6+2+0+2+0 = 15. Don’t forget – don’t reduce numbers that total 21 and under.
- If your birthday is on September 29, 2021, the equation looks like this: 9+2+9+2+0+2+1 = 25. Then reduce the number again since it is over 21. So you would have 2+5 = 7.
