Yes – It’s back to school time – which means back to business!
This time of year invites us to get organized before time speeds up and we roller coaster into the holidays.
It’s time to breathe, pause and take inventory of how we are feeling now.
Many people have been coming into Curio, Craft & Conjure feeling like “something” is “on” them. Call it a hex or curse, the reality is that there are numerous types of energy contracts and bindings.
A lot of witchy woo-folk don’t even think about chakras – and they should. When you understand how chakras work and why they are important in every aspect of our lives, (not just yoga class) – we can appreciate how they help us and more importantly – how to create consistently successful magick.
A skilled practitioner knows when energetic contracts are placed chakrically. They can restrict you from accessing your gifts, powers and spiritual destiny – affecting every area of your life from physical, emotional and even relationship health.
There are many types of energy contracts (or bindings).
I (intuitively) see them in the 1st, 4th, 5th, 9th or 10th chakras as symbols or energetic bands that connect at least 2 people or entities.
The 5 Bindings Profiles:
Energetic Cords: These feel like connections that make it hard to detach from a person (or people). This is usually found with those in cults or those who linked to dogmatic religious practices.
Life Energy Cords: These exist between parts of self or between a person and another person or group. Exhaustion, chronic or severe illness and adrenal problems usually involve life energy cords. Usually found in narcissistic/co-dependent relationships.
Curses: Appearing as thick filaments bound together can exist between a person and another (or a group). In life, a curse looks like long term financial and/or sexual disorder. Upon investigation, it is a pattern evident from generation to generation. Science often calls this “epigenetics”.
Energy Markers: An energetic symbol that tells others how to treat the bearer of the symbol. When you are constantly being disrespected by people for no apparent reason, an energy marker can be the reason.
Holds: Energetic restrictions placed on one by another, that limits you to the point of feeling stuck.
Personally, I have found that these energy contracts can actually disappear after you determine the reason you are holding onto your end of the contract – and choosing another way to get the pay-off.
With regards to this topic – I see energy is like a door-to-door salesman.
Imagine a salesperson going door-to-door in your neighborhood selling vacuum cleaners. If you have hardwood floors, you may not even answer the door, after peering through the window seeing someone lugging around something you have no desire to own. But someone with wall-to-wall carpeting would.
An energy contract is looking for a “host” that resonates with the contract. For example, if you feel insecure, an Energy Marker may announce to the world “It’s ok to treat me like shit. I deserve it.”
Or a Life Energy Cord may “stick” if you like the attention you get from being sick.
So – today’s homework is to determine if you fit any of the above profiles. If so, determine what you need to release that will allow your situation to shift.
