There are key times on our life’s journey when we’re presented with opportunities for accelerated growth.
At least that is what I like to think.
And, as you may have guessed, I am going through one now. How about you?
The Universe creates a variety of “opportunities” for alchemical growth, where we are “initiated” physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and beyond…those other aspects of self that are “elsewhere”.
I am (yet again) realizing that these “opportunities” are the most trying times we’ll encounter in our lives.
They are, what I call “decision diamonds”.
Upon recent reflection, I also realize that during these “opportunities” our souls feel our “being” is prepared to expand into higher levels of awareness/consciousness.
What I’m Learning (It may help you through your “growth spurt”):
Go Within: That’s right. Meditate. When we’re still holding karmic (or identity) filters, disharmony, frustration and unhappiness can be expected. As a result, first you’ll talk about it. This helps gain perspective. Many of us just stay here.
The “golden ticket” comes when we recognize (& heed) the call to go within. This opens us to receive new information, allowing (also new) aspects of being to come through. Sitting in our inner world (meditation) allows change in our outer world.
Abandoned : An initiation often feels like abandonment, the most prevalent human “issue”. You may question what you know in your heart to be true. Especially when friendships, careers, relationships and living situations are all challenged. You are actually creating a new foundation that goes with the NEW YOU with a exactly what you need.
Also, know you are NOT alone. Invisible support surrounds you, holding the space needed to help you grow through your experience by illuminating your healing opportunities and what you need to help yourself and, ultimately…others.

Soul-Alignment/Surrender : This is where I am now – The “ I Give In” stage.
There are times in our journey where we let go of wanting to be “in control” and we surrender to Soul-Alignment. Only by surrendering (aka: The Dark Night of the Soul) can we be lead to our Divine Destiny. This is not a material objective or even an intellectual awareness; it’s more of a ‘break down and cry” type of surrender. (Did I just put that in writing?)
During this stage y/our soul is working to push y/our consciousness through y/our “being” and OUT – into y/our reality. Y/our blockages and distortions of “the-old body-mind consciousness”, are revealed, reflected in the imbalances you see in y/our outer world. (You know when you are knee-deep in this stage when there is a persistent reflection/mirror of your old reality, and it really irks you.)
The Good News: At this point, you’ve entered another level of your initiation: The fast-lane of Accelerated Growth.
Note: This is when many of us claim we “want our old life back” and some of us even “turn back” or “suck it up”.
DON’T.
Yes – this IS a “free will” planet, but if this window of opportunity closes, it will take your time (and energy) to recreate and re-open another. (Yup. Groundhog Day) Bite the bullet!
