I recently had dinner with a group of girlfriends – a couple of whom I’ve known for years, while the others feel like it. We laughed so hard – it was a great night!
It is a proven fact that for men to live longer lives, they need women. For women to live longer lives, we need women.
In my last newsletter, I talked about love in its many forms, so in this one, I’d like to focus on loving friendships. I have been fortunate enough to have friends who have supported me through ups and downs and all the times in between. As someone with five planets in Scorpio, compounded with being from New York, I can say without shame that I am guarded. It’s in my DNA. Even when I share my stories in these newsletters, they only scratch the surface of my life.
When dealing with people, I have found that folks often “tip their hand,” letting me see what is under their smile, kind words, or sarcasm. I may love deeply and may be loyal to a fault, but I’ll walk away from anyone who reveals duplicity, shadiness, jealousy, or trivial bullshit and never look back.
When you find good people, keep them in your life. We can never have too many sisters of the heart.
I have not had to use this specific ritual, but when I discovered it, I wanted to share it with those looking for your circle of sisters.
Sisterhood Spell for Female Friends
Use this spell if you have a friend you want to know better.
Materials Needed:
- 2 pink or white candles
- Ritual Timing: Any Friday
- Moon Phase: Full (optional)
Burn your candles before noon, as the sun rises to make your relationship grow.
This will help the two of you connect on a higher plane. Since silver is associated with the moon and is also a symbol of womanhood, you may want to hold or wear a piece of silver jewelry when you recite this spell:
“Bound by choice and not by blood,
Be for me a sister good.
Share the joy, soothe the pain,
Our bond will ever, wax, not wane.”
