If there is one way the English language limits us, it’s in how love is expressed. In the English language, we love our mothers the same way we love our spouses and ice cream. This makes no sense!
Many folks keep Love Magick in the “romance” category. I believe in supporting my friendships, spaces, family, community, and ancestors/deities with ritual.
When it comes to Love Magick, I personally include:

- Ancestral (& Diety) Love
- Romance
I love “Love Magick” but warn people against any binding rituals.
Why?
Because, in my life, I realized a pattern: I outgrow people.
When you outgrow someone you did Love Magick on, they are impossible to get rid of. Not only will they be pining for you, but you may find yourself repeating old unhealthy patterns – even though you know better.
