I am not writing to you to tell you that you must “plan” everything in advance for it to manifest. In fact, three years ago, I had no intention of owning and operating a store.
But I will tell you that timing goes hand-in-hand with desire.
True Story: In 2012, after leaving the corporate world to work for myself, I found myself out of money and on the precipice of going backward, to go back to work for “the man”.
Here’s the thing”: I don’t like being told what to do. I am unemployable. I am a free spirit. I question authority. And “authority” hates questions.
Anyhoo – serendipitously, I was invited to an event hosted by Christine Kane. I told her that I was considering going back to work. In passing, she merely suggested “don’t do that” – and continued to offer a group of about 50 of us a wealth of knowledge that allowed me to step-up my business in a way I will always be grateful for.
In fact, I have had the honor of working with many teachers over the years. The two that inspired me most are Christine Kane & Cyndi Dale. (Oddly, they share birthdays!).
